George Kyung Hong, President and CEO of Meridian Materials, Inc.

Mr. Hong has over 25 years of experience in Facilities Management and Engineering. He has held positions as project manager, superintendent, building manager, and field engineer. In those positions, he has gained experience in advanced building engineering technologies, building maintenance, Facilities Management, contract mangement, personnel management, and other related fields. Mr. Hong received a BA in business administration from Yonsei University (Seoul, South Korea), a BS from King College, and an MBA in finance from East Tennessee State University. He also received an honorary doctorate, Doctor of Laws, from the University of the Cumberlands.


Sam Morrison, VP of Operations and Marketing

Prior to joining Meridian Materials, Mr. Morrison owned Matrix Services of America, a company that performed building maintenance services. He was VP of Marketing for Eagle Maintenance, a building maintenance firm. He is a member of the Building Service Contractors Association - Registered Building Service Manger (RBSM), Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE). Mr. Morrison attended Benjamin Franklin University.


Kenny Ro, General Manager

Prior to joining Meridian Materials, Mr. Ro has been in the field of Facilities Management for over 15 years as a project manager and supervisor for Custodial Services. He received a BA in management from Korea University. He has attended numerous custodial maintenance courses. He is currently project manager of supervision for the Thrift Office (1700 G St NW, Washington, DC). Mr. Ro is a professional custodial manager with comprehensive experience and expertise in all aspects of custodial management, including managing 60 janitors, frequency schedules, and quality control plans, communicating with the contracting officer on a daily basis.
